Technology for a
post-plastic economy.

Novel Ceramic Manufacturing

The GaeaStar ceramic formation process introduces ground-breaking new additive techniques and leverages nuanced material properties to form ultra thin axis-symmetric shapes in seconds. These ceramic products are enabled by depositing material in a 3D-contoured film, or as we like to call it, Surface Printing™. This versatile technology can be used for containers in the food & beverage, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical industries.

Inspired by Nature: Strong, Lighter Ceramics

Inspired by nature’s marvel—the eggshell—our technology mimics its unique balance of strength and lightness. Using 3D-contoured film surface printing, we create ultra-thin ceramics that are remarkably durable. This innovation isn’t just about precision and elegance—by drastically reducing the mass of production parts, we enable low-energy ceramic manufacturing that traditional, bulky ceramics can’t achieve.

Last-Mile Manufacturing

GaeaStar’s micro-factory technology enables turnkey manufacturing in virtually any location. With a compact footprint—comparable to a modular shipping container (300 sq. ft)—our factories are easy to implement and scale. The modular design allows production from 1,000s to 10,000s of units daily, adapting seamlessly to local market demand.

Local Material Input

GaeaStar’s additive technique is readily able to accept local clay and mineral input materials. By characterizing incoming material rheological properties, GaeaStar process technology can dynamically adjust to accept the wide variation of these natural materials without creating overly stringent requirements on feedstocks. This process technology enables a truly low-carbon supply chain that minimizes transit impacts - local input materials, for local production, for local usage.

The factory of the future:
Onshore production for onshore use.

We’re pioneering the onshore factory of the future. Our micro-factories use local materials, labor, and compact production to streamline packaging life cycles. By reducing transportation emissions and shortening supply chains, we create cost-efficient, sustainable solutions tailored to local markets.
